My Coment: This age is the age of information explosion. Information is a fact. Without information we cannot solve any problem. This problem can be solved in an ideal Library. An ideal Library means, “A collection of books assembled for use as against possession or for any of the purposes for which books may be assembled”. On the other hand “A modern Library is a collection of written, printed or other graphic or visual materials organized and maintained for reading, Studying and consultation”. We think that our Akij Collegiate School Library is an Ideal Library. It is an Academic Library. At this moment the total collection of books here is about 3900. More than 60% books are Academic books. Other books are Novels, Dramas, and Comics, Detective books, English Dictionary, Bengali Dictionary, Encyclopedia, Religious books, Journals, Biography, Maps, Charts, Pictures, Many kinds of CD etc. The Library has a spacious area. 100-150 Students can sit here together at a time.
